SAB Industries Ltd consolidated sales down 49.29% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 369.07%

SAB Industries Ltd share price slipped 2.86% to Rs 170.0 after the company's net profit plunged by 369.07% to Rs 28.71 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 49.29% to Rs 6.41 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.29 lakh crore, tumbling by 17.30%. It has eased by 1.70% over last one week and eased lower by 0.41% in last one month while the market capitalization of SAB Industries Ltd has slipped by 2.86% and 13.26% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of SAB Industries Ltd stood at Rs 28.71 crore in Q2 FY26, plunging by 38.31% year-on-year, and tanking 380.65% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, surging by 151.28% YoY and nosediving by 116.25% sequentially. Total expenses grew marginally by 7.74% to Rs 7.24 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.58 crore, contracting 9.20% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 3.05% to Rs 46.91 crore, while net profit tumbled by 154.26% to Rs 21.1 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 61% to Rs 2.6 crore, and PBT tanked by 153.11% to Rs 20.74 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 6.27 crore in FY26, as against Rs 22.46 crore in FY25. SAB Industries Ltd jumped 16.32% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
