Barak Valley Cements Ltd consolidated sales up 2.05% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit jumped 111.03%

Barak Valley Cements Ltd share price softened by 2.10% to Rs 41.0. The Company's net profit soared by 111.03% to Rs 3.06 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 2.05% to Rs 60.87 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Cement & Cement Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.56 lakh crore, declining 5.67%. It has eased by 1.49% over last one week and gained upto 2.89% in last one month while the market capitalization of Barak Valley Cements Ltd has slipped by 3.34% and 3.86% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Barak Valley Cements Ltd stood at Rs 4.08 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 80.53% year-on-year, and rallying 89.77% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 6 crore, jumping 36.14% YoY and expanding by 125.19% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 2.70% to Rs 55.94 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 24.04 crore, growing marginally by 5.48% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 5.64 crore, dipping slightly 1.74% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined by 11.14% to Rs 207.93 crore, while net profit tanked by 28.69% to Rs 5.17 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1796% to Rs 18.47 crore, and PBT plunged by 28.38% to Rs 9.06 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 12.15 crore in FY26, as against Rs 16.24 crore in FY25. Barak Valley Cements Ltd gained 0.84% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.83% during the same period.
