Minal Industries Ltd consolidated sales down 13.64% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit soared by 46.30%

Minal Industries Ltd share price ticked higher by 3.35% to Rs 2.16 after the company's net profit saw a strong growth of 46.30% to Rs 2.37 crore, while revenue from operations slipped 13.64% to Rs 13.11 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Trading & Distributors industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 49691.37 crore, improving 11.71%. It has slipped by 1.11% over last one week and soared by 24.51% in last one month while the market capitalization of Minal Industries Ltd has improved by 4.86% and 10.75% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Minal Industries Ltd stood at Rs 2.27 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 194.81% year-on-year, and expanding by 18.23% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 2 crore, surging by 189.47% YoY and nosediving by 632.26% sequentially. Total expenses tumbled by 22.30% to Rs 11.22 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 6.63 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 50.68% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.29 crore, tanking by 14.57% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 35.06% to Rs 51.12 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 302.40% to Rs 4.21 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 251% to Rs 2.83 crore, and PBT plunged by 347.34% to Rs 4.18 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 4.03 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1.05 crore in FY25. Minal Industries Ltd nosedived by 46.40% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.83% during the same period.
