Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd share price slipped 1.92% to Rs 342.3 after the company's net profit tanked by 85.39% to Rs 859.0 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 9.62% to Rs 94827.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Passenger Cars & Utility Vehicles industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.22 lakh crore, declining 4.20%. It has softened by 0.06% over last one week and crept higher by 7.56% in last one month while the market capitalization of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd has eased by 0.42% and 3.98% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd stood at Rs 1574.0 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 85.95% year-on-year, and plunging by 78.37% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5047 crore, crashing by 61.42% YoY and tanking 47.57% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 4.81% to Rs 94503.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 60835.0 crore, inching up 9.68% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 12738.0 crore, improving by 7.06% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 8.28% to Rs 3.33 lakh crore, while net profit tumbled by 107.10% to Rs 1377.0 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 4132100% to Rs 13110.0 crore, and PBT collapsed by 105.70% to Rs 1623.0 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 13041.0 crore in FY26, as against Rs 63102.0 crore in FY25. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd crashed 13.53% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
