Kothari Industrial Corporation commits Rs 1,050 crore to Tamil Nadu’s design and footwear projects

Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited announced on August 13, 2026, that it and its associate have executed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu: one for a Design Education and Upskilling Project involving an investment of approximately Rs 50 crore to establish a University for Design Education and Upskilling of Technical Personnel at Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and another for a Non-Leather Footwear Manufacturing Project by Phoenix Kothari Footwear Limited, with an investment of approximately Rs 1,000 crore in Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu.
