Subam Papers Ltd consolidated sales up 21.46% on year in Q2FY2026

Subam Papers Ltd share price declined by 1.76% to Rs 217.1 after the company's net profit tumbled by 68.60% to Rs 1.03 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 21.46% to Rs 171.41 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Packaging industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 43443.52 crore, improving 11.62%. It has improved by 5.02% over last one week and jumped by 23.72% in last one month while the market capitalization of Subam Papers Ltd has slipped by 0.69% and 3.88% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Subam Papers Ltd stood at Rs 2.83 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 34.64% year-on-year, and nosediving by 188.16% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 12 crore, gaining 2.77% YoY and expanding by 21.05% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 18.68% to Rs 165.05 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 140.06 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 20.87% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 9.98 crore, dipping slightly 5.85% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 9.17% to Rs 539.17 crore, while net profit dropped 11.90% to Rs 26.57 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 6796% to Rs 61.12 crore, and PBT declined 10.28% to Rs 36.67 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 32.28 crore in FY26, as against Rs 38.5 crore in FY25. Subam Papers Ltd surged by 83.21% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.83% during the same period.
