Fusion Finance Limited clarified to the Bombay Stock Exchange that a news article published in The Economic Times on August 12, 2026, regarding the company’s plans to reduce its microfinance share and offer larger retail loans, was based on an interaction between Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Garyali and the publication following the company’s announcement of unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, which included the introduction of “Individual Loans” and a target of Indian rupees 10,000 crore of assets under management, with a current return on assets of 3% as of June 2026. The company stated it is not aware of any undisclosed information that could explain any movement in trading and confirmed that the information was consistent with prior disclosures and an earnings conference call, and that no material impact has been observed on the price of its equity shares.
