BPL Ltd consolidated sales up 9.02% on year in Q2FY2026

BPL Ltd share price slipped 1.35% to Rs 52.8 after the company's net profit tanked by 68.59% to Rs 3.54 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 9.02% to Rs 21.39 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Consumer Electronics industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.62 lakh crore, expanding by 26.18%. It has eased by 2.25% over last one week and soared by 15.06% in last one month while the market capitalization of BPL Ltd has slipped by 1.31% and 4.83% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of BPL Ltd stood at Rs 3.54 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 229.67% year-on-year, and crashing by 63.24% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, tanking 56.69% YoY and jumping 6050.00% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 4.05% to Rs 20.54 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 15.11 crore, going up by 13.69% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 2.95 crore, dropping 10.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations improved 17.96% to Rs 78.36 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 99.33% to Rs 0.09 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 794% to Rs 46.46 crore, and PBT collapsed by 98.99% to Rs 0.17 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9.06 crore in FY26, as against Rs 6.82 crore in FY25. BPL Ltd nosedived by 30.06% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.83% during the same period.
