A.K. Capital Services reclassifies A.K. Capital Markets, complying with SEBI regulations

A.K. Capital Services Limited’s Board of Directors unanimously approved the reclassification of A.K. Capital Markets Limited from the Promoter Group to the Public category, a move aligning with SEBI regulations and signifying a reduction in the original promoter group’s influence. AKCML, which currently holds no equity shares or voting rights in A.K. Capital Services Limited, provided justification for the reclassification, confirming it doesn't exercise control or possess special rights. Separately, the company issued Rs 14 Crores in commercial paper on April 10, 2026, with the proceeds used as intended and without deviation. The company will now file an application with the BSE Limited for approval of the reclassification and will update its shareholding pattern accordingly.
