BPL Ltd consolidated sales up 9.02% on year in Q2FY2026

BPL Ltd share price inched up 0.41% to Rs 53.52 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 68.59% to Rs 3.54 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 9.02% to Rs 21.39 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Consumer Electronics industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.63 lakh crore, rallying 26.72%. It has softened by 2.58% over last one week and climbed by 14.29% in last one month while the market capitalization of BPL Ltd has slipped by 1.60% and 6.20% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of BPL Ltd stood at Rs 3.54 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 229.67% year-on-year, and tanking 63.24% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, tumbling by 56.69% YoY and expanding by 6050.00% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 4.05% to Rs 20.54 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 15.11 crore, increasing 13.69% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 2.95 crore, falling 10.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 17.96% to Rs 78.36 crore, while net profit tanked by 99.33% to Rs 0.09 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 794% to Rs 46.46 crore, and PBT collapsed by 98.99% to Rs 0.17 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9.06 crore in FY26, as against Rs 6.82 crore in FY25. BPL Ltd tumbled by 28.81% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.04% during the same period.
