V I P Industries Ltd share price slipped 1% to Rs 316.25 after the company's net profit tumbled by 58.45% to Rs 53.56 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 32.58% to Rs 578.36 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Plastic Products - Consumer industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 27490.57 crore, easing 6.44%. It has inched up 3.81% over last one week and soared by 15.79% in last one month while the market capitalization of V I P Industries Ltd has improved by 0.31% and 6.28% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of V I P Industries Ltd stood at Rs 54.65 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 220.53% year-on-year, and plunging by 57.57% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 15 crore, tanking 175.84% YoY and crashing by 82.32% sequentially. Total expenses advancing by 13.07% to Rs 620.91 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 222.7 crore, posting a minor increase of 4.75% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 63.57 crore, jumping 16.17% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations contracted by 14.70% to Rs 1858.13 crore, while net profit soared by 391.37% to Rs 338.01 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 7860% to Rs 263.29 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 270.55% to Rs 338.02 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 180.95 crore in FY26, as against Rs 291.88 crore in FY25. V I P Industries Ltd crashed 23.80% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.04% during the same period.
