ICICI Prudential Life Insurance amends trademark license with Prudential IP Services subsidiary

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited entered into a transitional agreement with Prudential IP Services Limited on August 12, 2026, amending a trademark and names license agreement dated September 26, 2014, to outline the terms and conditions for continued usage of the ‘Prudential’ marks and the rebranding of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, including the removal of ‘Prudential’ marks from its name, while noting that PIP is a subsidiary of Prudential plc, the ultimate holding company of Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited, a promoter of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited.
