Inducto Steel Ltd consolidated sales up 22.42% on year in Q2FY2026

Inducto Steel Ltd share price softened by 0.76% to Rs 63.0 after the company's net profit eased 7.19% to Rs 1.29 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 22.42% to Rs 79.38 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Iron & Steel Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.22 lakh crore, easing 0.03%. It has eased by 0.55% over last one week and ticked higher by 4.52% in last one month while the market capitalization of Inducto Steel Ltd has gained 14.78% and 22.63% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Inducto Steel Ltd stood at Rs 1.72 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 621.21% year-on-year, and crashing by 17.31% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5 crore, surging by 881.48% YoY and jumping 109.49% sequentially. Total expenses increased by 18.54% to Rs 73.8 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 40.6 crore, slumping by 25.98% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.92 crore, inching up 4.55% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 52.40% to Rs 158.57 crore, while net profit tanked by 2425% to Rs 3.72 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA plunged by 40% to Rs 2.93 crore, and PBT tumbled by 1900% to Rs 4.68 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 11.87 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1.09 crore in FY25. Inducto Steel Ltd headed higher 7.07% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.04% during the same period.
