Mufin Green Finance reported strong financial performance in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, with interest income reaching Rs 76.44 crore, a 61.8% year-over-year increase, and profit after tax at Rs 14.01 crore, up 345.6% compared to the prior year. The company’s assets under management grew 69.4% year-over-year to Rs 1,541.17 crore, while quarterly disbursements reached Rs 449 crore, a 37.3% increase. Mufin Green Finance has achieved significant operating leverage, decreasing headcount by 26.45% while disbursements grew 6.9x, and aims to further reduce its employee base to 300. The company’s capital adequacy ratio stands at 32.37%, well above the regulatory minimum, and has benefited from an ‘A-’ stable rating from Acuite, leading to lower borrowing costs and access to new lenders.
