Precision Camshafts Ltd consolidated sales down 6.53% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit contracted by 16%

Precision Camshafts Ltd share price softened by 1.08% to Rs 141.65 after the company's net profit declined by 16% to Rs 8.45 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 6.53% to Rs 187.89 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.73 lakh crore, gaining 4.42%. It has inched up 4.15% over last one week and soared by 18.17% in last one month while the market capitalization of Precision Camshafts Ltd has eased by 1.05% and 10.43% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Precision Camshafts Ltd stood at Rs 12.69 crore in Q2 FY26, plunging by 53.38% year-on-year, and crashing by 42.16% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 6 crore, tanking 55.30% YoY and nosediving by 126.66% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 3.30% to Rs 190.89 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 62.35 crore, marginally falling by 8.70% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 33.61 crore, rising by 11.77% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations dropped by 10.69% to Rs 772.88 crore, while net profit slipped by 5.29% to Rs 51.25 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 3513% to Rs 16.61 crore, and PBT dipped slightly 5.46% to Rs 78.59 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 120.08 crore in FY26, as against Rs 143.47 crore in FY25. Precision Camshafts Ltd tumbled by 18% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.56% during the same period.
