Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd consolidated sales up 526.24% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit surged by 890.23%

Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd share price softened by 0.72% to Rs 100.13. The Company's net profit soared by 890.23% to Rs 80.11 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 526.24% to Rs 777.92 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Petrochemicals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 35280.97 crore, surging by 16.68%. It has eased by 4.19% over last one week and moved up slightly by 6.90% in last one month while the market capitalization of Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd has inched up 3.41% and 14.20% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd stood at Rs 106.07 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 123.92% year-on-year, and rallying 954.37% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 114 crore, jumping 186.82% YoY and expanding by 1355.75% sequentially. Total expenses witnessed a sharp rise of 459.55% to Rs 673.25 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 481.46 crore, soaring by 742.89% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 18.8 crore, witnessing a strong rise of 282.89% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 9.49% to Rs 1823.27 crore, while net profit improved by 16.56% to Rs 58.35 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 3701% to Rs 35.27 crore, and PBT soared 21.19% to Rs 78.57 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 206.6 crore in FY26, as against Rs 161.24 crore in FY25. Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd ticked higher by 1.82% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.56% during the same period.
