Brookfield REIT used Rs 49000 million from a placement to acquire Ecoworld and repay debt

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust (Brookfield REIT) has utilized Rs 49,000 million from its 2024 institutional placement, primarily to fund the acquisition of Ecoworld, with Rs 48.02 million allocated to general purposes. The 2025 placement of Rs 35,000 million was largely directed toward the Ecoworld acquisition and debt repayment, utilizing Rs 34,915.50 million in total. As of June 30, 2026, Brookfield REIT had deployed Rs 6,919.17 million from its 2026 placement of Rs 26,000 million, with significant portions dedicated to debt repayment and equity infusion in Candor N2, alongside issue expenses. Management retains flexibility in allocating remaining funds across various purposes.
