ICICI Prudential Asset Management to acquire ICICI Securities’ PMS business for Rs 29.10 billion

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited announced that its board approved the acquisition of the portfolio management services (PMS) business from ICICI Securities Limited by way of a slump sale, with assets under management of Rs 29.10 billion as of March 31, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and the transaction is expected to be completed within a year. The acquisition, considered a related-party transaction conducted at arm’s length, will broaden ICICI Prudential Asset Management’s portfolio management services offerings, while ICICI Securities’ PMS business generated revenue of Rs 14.94 crore, Rs 25.30 crore, and Rs 20.88 crore in fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026, respectively.
