Hindustan Media Ventures receives Rs 32.5 crore investment from RD Retail India Private Limited

Hindustan Media Ventures Limited announced that it has been allotted 3,927 equity shares amounting to Rs 32.5 crore from RD Retail India Private Limited pursuant to the conversion of warrants held by the company. The investment in RD Retail, incorporated in 2012 and headquartered in Delhi, is intended for capital return and to leverage media assets, with the acquisition representing approximately 3.8% of RD Retail's equity share capital. RD Retail, which retails FMCG products to retailers across Delhi NCR, reported a turnover of Rs 77.28 crore in fiscal year 2025, Rs 59.04 crore in fiscal year 2024, and Rs 68.19 crore in fiscal year 2023.
