Ecoplast Ltd consolidated sales up 10.25% on year in Q2FY2026

Ecoplast Ltd share price softened by 0.95% to Rs 482.0 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 26.65% to Rs 3.33 crore, while revenue from operations edged up 10.25% to Rs 63.25 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Plastic Products - Industrial industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.4 lakh crore, declining 7.83%. It has eased by 1.28% over last one week and gained upto 2.09% in last one month while the market capitalization of Ecoplast Ltd has slipped by 4.37% and 39.50% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Ecoplast Ltd stood at Rs 4.63 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 19.02% year-on-year, and nosediving by 20.72% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 6 crore, surging by 89.56% YoY and slipping 3.10% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 12.70% to Rs 58.83 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 42.94 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 21.64% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 7.23 crore, easing 6.17% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations witnessed a strong growth of 83.16% to Rs 207.78 crore, while net profit soared by 54.53% to Rs 14.17 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 1263% to Rs 17.45 crore, and PBT surged 59.06% to Rs 19.31 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 12.9 crore in FY26, as against Rs 12.71 crore in FY25. Ecoplast Ltd nosedived by 12.23% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
