Bharat Forge Ltd consolidated sales up 2.47% on year in Q2FY2026

Bharat Forge Ltd share price ticked higher by 1.97% to Rs 2274.0 after the company's net profit plunged by 138.51% to Rs 89.89 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 2.47% to Rs 4639.94 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.69 lakh crore, gaining 5.10%. It has marginally improved by 3.90% over last one week and soared by 18.56% in last one month while the market capitalization of Bharat Forge Ltd has improved by 3.50% and 18.89% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Bharat Forge Ltd stood at Rs 44.44 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 89.19% year-on-year, and plunging by 88.67% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 652 crore, easing 4.66% YoY and retreating 10.07% sequentially. Total expenses grew marginally by 4.72% to Rs 4193.77 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2102.99 crore, softening by 7.43% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 593.53 crore, improving by 11.02% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 11.17% to Rs 16811.65 crore, while net profit registered a growth of 19.28% to Rs 1089.4 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 257649% to Rs 2727.99 crore, and PBT rose 14.52% to Rs 1667.17 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1486.64 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1796.34 crore in FY25. Bharat Forge Ltd jumped 95.40% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
