Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd consolidated sales down 47.01% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit surged by 216.56%

Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.86% to Rs 99.35 after the company's net profit soared by 216.56% to Rs 9.56 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 47.01% to Rs 11.44 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Trading - Chemicals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3426.25 crore, plunging by 29.11%. It has slipped by 3.02% over last one week and fell by 10.27% in last one month while the market capitalization of Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd has eased by 3.96% and 4.37% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd stood at Rs 12.73 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 9192.86% year-on-year, and rallying 260.62% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5 crore, expanding by 55.12% YoY and rising 1.73% sequentially. Total expenses plunged by 50.65% to Rs 11.86 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.5 crore, jumping 35.14% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 55.94% to Rs 52.21 crore, while net profit tumbled by 94.27% to Rs 0.81 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 1650% to Rs 15.73 crore, and PBT collapsed by 95.83% to Rs 0.77 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 8.5 crore in FY26, as against Rs 4.32 crore in FY25. Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd crashed 18.96% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
