Energy Infrastructure Trust consolidated sales up 9.32% on year in Q2FY2026

Energy Infrastructure Trust share price declined by 0.40% to Rs 75.5 after the company's net profit tanked by 113.74% to Rs 6.55 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 9.32% to Rs 1095.12 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Gas Transmission/Marketing industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.26 lakh crore, heading higher 13.78%. It has softened by 0.35% over last one week and ticked higher by 6.68% in last one month while the market capitalization of Energy Infrastructure Trust has improved by 1.83% and 1.95% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Energy Infrastructure Trust stood at Rs 6.5 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 120.57% year-on-year, and tumbling by 113.61% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 320 crore, dropping 10.90% YoY and falling 12.83% sequentially. Total expenses advancing by 17.02% to Rs 988.66 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 13.14 crore, surging 29.33% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 2.50% to Rs 3847.0 crore, while net profit soared by 1215.29% to Rs 117.85 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 126191% to Rs 1445.93 crore, and PBT jumped 1087.73% to Rs 118.06 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1688.07 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1181.53 crore in FY25. Energy Infrastructure Trust fell 7.93% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
