B & A Ltd consolidated sales up 63.77% on year in Q2FY2026

B & A Ltd share price ticked higher by 4.53% to Rs 404.9 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 112.58% to Rs 2.58 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 63.77% to Rs 71.6 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Tea & Coffee industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.38 lakh crore, declining 6.59%. It has eased by 0.34% over last one week and softened by 6.69% in last one month while the market capitalization of B & A Ltd has slipped by 2.63% and 1.24% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of B & A Ltd stood at Rs 3.56 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 272.82% year-on-year, and tumbling by 120.55% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5 crore, nosediving by 564.29% YoY and plunging by 129.30% sequentially. Total expenses inched up 9.17% to Rs 67.17 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 39.39 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 74.06% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 30.03 crore, witnessing a strong rise of 59.73% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 7.10% to Rs 283.12 crore, while net profit plunged by 117.60% to Rs 1.94 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA tumbled by 673% to Rs 6.56 crore, and PBT collapsed by 81.87% to Rs 2.43 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 0.36 crore in FY26, as against Rs 0.79 crore in FY25. B & A Ltd fell 6.92% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.63% during the same period.
