Atul Auto Ltd consolidated sales down 9.94% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit plunged by 56.11%

Atul Auto Ltd share price softened by 0.50% to Rs 576.55 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 56.11% to Rs 8.04 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 9.94% to Rs 214.74 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Commercial Vehicles industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.65 lakh crore, jumping 17.95%. It has improved by 4.62% over last one week and moved up slightly by 5.98% in last one month while the market capitalization of Atul Auto Ltd has edged up by 11.93% and 15.77% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Atul Auto Ltd stood at Rs 10.77 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 231.38% year-on-year, and crashing by 51.55% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 16 crore, rallying 60.02% YoY and tanking 40.93% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 5.34% to Rs 206.23 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 164.4 crore, growing marginally by 4.08% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 22.82 crore, expanding by 8.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 37.10% to Rs 710.55 crore, while net profit jumped 159.41% to Rs 18.34 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 3686% to Rs 49.78 crore, and PBT soared 148.55% to Rs 26.62 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 33.48 crore in FY26, as against Rs 0.79 crore in FY25. Atul Auto Ltd soared by 29.81% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.63% during the same period.
