Oil India Ltd consolidated sales up 34.54% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit soared by 66.09%

Oil India Ltd share price softened by 1.21% to Rs 441.0. The Company's net profit surged by 66.09% to Rs 4026.83 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 34.54% to Rs 12503.32 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Oil Exploration & Production industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 4.33 lakh crore, jumping 18.33%. It has slipped by 2.28% over last one week and fell by 9.31% in last one month while the market capitalization of Oil India Ltd has eased by 3.88% and 2.95% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Oil India Ltd stood at Rs 5322.17 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 112.46% year-on-year, and rallying 70.63% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5443 crore, expanding by 159.78% YoY and surging by 95.85% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 10.39% to Rs 7408.55 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2269.27 crore, going up by 15.52% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 556.45 crore, falling 8.24% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 0.14% to Rs 32512.48 crore, while net profit grew slightly 0.85% to Rs 7039.63 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1134957% to Rs 9549.99 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 6.68% to Rs 9436.43 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 11332.04 crore in FY26, as against Rs 10933.14 crore in FY25. Oil India Ltd gained 3.33% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 1.97% during the same period.
