CWL deployed Rs 723.81 crore of funds raised, facing delays in a Cello Consumerware facility
07-Aug-2026, 09:16
A Monitoring Agency report reveals that CWL has deployed approximately Rs 723.81 crore of the Rs 737.32 crore raised through a Qualified Institutional Placement as of June 30, 2026, with Rs 20.80 crore temporarily invested in a Tata Liquid Fund and Rs 13.51 crore in a Money Market Account. While the deployment largely aligns with the offer document, the report highlights significant delays in the construction of a Cello Consumerware facility, initially slated for completion by March 2025, now projected for September 2026. Furthermore, funds allocated for General Corporate Purposes remain unutilized, and the report notes a lack of specificity regarding the reasons for the project delays, warranting continued monitoring and further clarification from CWL’s management.
