Panasonic Energy India assesses fire damage at Pithampur facility, supply continuity prioritized

Panasonic Energy India Co. Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that a preliminary assessment of the fire incident at its manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, is underway, with the quantum of loss yet to be finalized and currently being evaluated in consultation with an Insurance Surveyor. The company stated it maintains adequate inventory levels and is working with its foreign collaborator and evaluating outsourcing options to ensure continuity of supply, with operations in other areas of the plant continuing normally and dispatches of unaffected finished goods inventory having resumed following quality and safety verifications.
