Waaree Smart Meters acquires 24.21% stake in Eppeltone Engineers for Rs 21.78 crore

Waaree Energies Ltd. announced that its step-down subsidiary, Waaree Smart Meters Private Limited, has acquired 24.21% of the equity share capital of Eppeltone Engineers Limited through an off-market transaction on August 7, 2026, for approximately Rs 21.78 crore. Eppeltone Engineers Limited, incorporated on September 18, 2002, specializes in manufacturing electronic energy meters, including smart meters, and had a turnover of Rs 78.45 crore in fiscal year 2023-24, Rs 124.33 crore in fiscal year 2024-25, and Rs 134.74 crore in fiscal year 2025-26.
