Afcons Infrastructure Ltd share price slipped 0.68% to Rs 278.8 after the company's net profit tanked by 134.22% to Rs 30.3 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 2.19% to Rs 2671.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.57 lakh crore, slipping 4.88%. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 576.75 crore, softening by 0.62% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 302.8 crore, collapsing by 20.05% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations eased 4.78% to Rs 11948.38 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 48.49% to Rs 250.74 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 84343% to Rs 843.39 crore, and PBT collapsed by 45.52% to Rs 386.79 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 127.49 crore in FY26, as against Rs 132.2 crore in FY25. Afcons Infrastructure Ltd crashed 30.86% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 1.97% during the same period.
