The Ramco Cements Ltd consolidated sales down 12.92% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit plunged by 78.85%

The Ramco Cements Ltd share price ticked higher by 1.47% to Rs 936.7. The Company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 78.85% to Rs 31.02 crore, while revenue from operations declined 12.92% to Rs 2273.05 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Cement & Cement Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.83 lakh crore, easing 1.63%. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 467.58 crore, contracting by 18.30% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 157.47 crore, ticking higher by 6.43% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 5.99% to Rs 9028.76 crore, while net profit jumped 158.07% to Rs 692.0 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 123548% to Rs 1394.52 crore, and PBT soared 172.81% to Rs 871.1 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1611.06 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1398.78 crore in FY25. The Ramco Cements Ltd tumbled by 18.38% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 1.97% during the same period.
