Surana Telecom and Power Ltd consolidated sales down 85.33% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 28.20%

Surana Telecom and Power Ltd share price remained flat to Rs 17.99 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 28.20% to Rs 11.0 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 85.33% to Rs 3.5 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Power Generation industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.75 lakh crore, easing 8.22%. It has marginally improved by 1.79% over last one week and edged lower by 4.05% in last one month while the market capitalization of Surana Telecom and Power Ltd has eased by 0.88% and 5.37% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Surana Telecom and Power Ltd stood at Rs 12.18 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 306.00% year-on-year, and crashing by 35.66% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 10 crore, jumping 502.30% YoY and tanking 66.03% sequentially. Total expenses plunged by 88.77% to Rs 3.35 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.79 crore, rising by 8.22% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tumbled 37.03% to Rs 15.92 crore, while net profit surged by 190.82% to Rs 23.44 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 158% to Rs 34.1 crore, and PBT surged 185.91% to Rs 28.82 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 3.5 crore in FY26, as against Rs 14.69 crore in FY25. Surana Telecom and Power Ltd softened by 1.10% in last one year, performing in line with the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 1.97% during the same period.
