Prime Focus Ltd consolidated sales down 8.68% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 138.90%

Prime Focus Ltd share price declined by 2.13% to Rs 292.3 after the company's net profit plunged by 138.90% to Rs 45.78 crore, while revenue from operations eased by 8.68% to Rs 1256.08 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Media & Entertainment industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 46845.3 crore, slipping 9.93%. It has inched up 0.93% over last one week and moved up slightly by 2.83% in last one month while the market capitalization of Prime Focus Ltd has improved by 1.90% and 3.12% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Prime Focus Ltd stood at Rs 32.73 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 119.94% year-on-year, and plunging by 140.06% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 264 crore, jumping 242.15% YoY and crashing by 49.47% sequentially. Total expenses grew marginally by 2.76% to Rs 1144.44 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 751.66 crore, rising by 9.90% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations softened by 9.98% to Rs 3537.91 crore, while net profit slipped by 6.18% to Rs 458.28 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 4167% to Rs 559.42 crore, and PBT collapsed by 29.99% to Rs 410.74 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 299.22 crore in FY26, as against Rs 32.52 crore in FY25. Prime Focus Ltd surged by 91.55% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 1.97% during the same period.
