McLeod Russel sells Assam’s Corramore Tea Estate to Krishnabehari Tea Co for Rs 26.16 crore

McLeod Russel India Limited announced it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Krishnabehari Tea Co Ltd for the disposal of assets of its Corramore Tea Estate in Assam, for Rs 26,16,25,000, exclusive of applicable taxes and outstanding statutory dues. The disposal is part of a debt restructuring plan approved by National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited acting through India Debt Resolution Company Limited, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2026, subject to necessary approvals.
