Jyothy Laboratories has Rs 23.49 crore of rights issue funds unutilized as of June 30

A monitoring report from CARE Ratings Ltd. has revealed that Jyothy Laboratories has yet to utilize Rs 23.49 crore of the funds raised through a recent rights issue, as of June 30, 2026. The report, assessing the company's fund deployment, also notes a timeline extension from March 31, 2026, to March 31, 2027, for implementing the rights issue’s objectives. While Rs 19.31 crore has been used to pay employee dues and Rs 27.70 crore to settle operational creditors, no funds have been allocated to general corporate purposes, representing Rs 102.50 crore. The remaining unutilized funds are temporarily held in fixed deposits with HDFC Bank, and the report highlights potential delays in paying operational creditors, raising concerns about liquidity and supplier relationships.
