Protean eGov Technologies’ revenue rose 19% to Rs 251 crore, despite a decline in profit

Protean eGov Technologies Ltd. announced consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 251 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, a 19% year-over-year increase, according to a press release. The company's EBITDA stood at Rs 28 crore, a 38% decline year-over-year, impacted by investments in new mandates, while profit after tax was Rs 6 crore, down 75% year-over-year; on a normalized basis, excluding these investments, EBITDA would have been approximately Rs 46 crore. Protean also reported having zero debt and more than Rs 800 crore in cash and marketable securities as of June 30, 2026, and increased its market share in tax services to 62% from 59% in fiscal 2026.
