Nykaa acquires 51% stake in Aminu Wellness, expanding its “House of Nykaa” brand portfolio

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited, better known as Nykaa, announced August 4, 2026, that it has acquired a 51% majority stake in Aminu Wellness Private Limited, a move furthering the company’s strategy to build a portfolio of brands under the “House of Nykaa” banner. Aminu, co-founded in 2019 by Prachi Bhandari and Aman Mohunta, specializes in premium dermocosmetic skincare, boasting 30+ proprietary formulations and a profitable business with revenues reaching Rs. 19 crores in fiscal year 2026, an 8x increase over the past three years. Nykaa, founded in 2012 and serving over 60 million customers as of June 30, 2026, plans to acquire the remaining stake in Aminu over the coming years, leveraging its consumer insights and omnichannel reach to accelerate Aminu’s growth. Adwaita Nayar, CEO of House of Nykaa, noted Aminu’s research and innovation capabilities, while the Aminu co-founders expressed excitement about the partnership.
