Alembic Pharmaceuticals’ revenue from operations rose 26% to Rs 2150 crore in Q1 2026

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited reported a 26% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 2150 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, according to a revised press release. The company’s profit after tax rose 12% year-on-year to Rs 173 crore, with EBITDA pre R&D increasing to Rs 523 crore, representing a 24% margin, while the India Branded Business delivered 7% year-on-year growth, reaching Rs 642 crore in revenue. The US Formulation business grew by 49% to Rs 778 crore, with seven product launches in the US market during the quarter, and the API business increased by 33% to Rs 346 crore.
