03-Aug-2026, 08:43
Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has received a “reasonable” assurance opinion from BDO India Services Private Limited regarding its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The independent assurance, conducted according to ISAE 3000 (Revised) and ISAE 3410 standards, concluded that the non-financial sustainability disclosures, or BRSR Core Indicators, are “fairly reliable” and presented “in all material respects.” While BDO identified minor inconsistencies in data collation and compilation, which have since been corrected, the firm recommended Shyam Metalics further strengthen its data management processes to enhance auditability and accuracy, as required by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
