03-Aug-2026, 07:25
Hyundai Motor India’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for the financial year 2026 has received a “reasonable level of assurance” from independent auditor TÜV SÜD, confirming the accuracy of nine core sustainability attributes. The report details the automaker’s environmental footprint, including greenhouse gas emissions, water and energy consumption, and waste management practices, alongside social initiatives such as employee wellbeing programs and gender diversity efforts. TÜV SÜD’s verification, conducted between April 22, 2026, and June 15, 2026, followed ISAE 3000 and ISO 17029 standards and included inquiries, process evaluations, and site inspections at locations including the company’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Sriperumbudur and Pune. The scope of the assurance did not encompass all information within the full report, nor did it review forward-looking statements or external sources.
