Coal India's July coal production rose 8.44% to 50.36 million tonnes, year-on-year

Coal India Limited reported coal production of 50.36 million tonnes in July FY'27, an 8.44% increase compared to the corresponding period last year, according to a press release published on August 1, 2026. The company’s coal supplies also surged 18.38% to 64.19 MT, marking the highest-ever monthly offtake for July, surpassing the previous record of 60.5 MT achieved in FY 24-25, while cumulative coal supplies during April-July FY'27 rose 6.9% to 262.04 MT.
