Aavas Financiers appoints Vellur Gopalaraghavan Kannan as Chairperson, succeeding Sandeep Tandon

Aavas Financiers Limited appointed Mr. Vellur Gopalaraghavan Kannan as an Additional Director and Chairperson of the Board, effective August 1, 2026, succeeding Mr. Sandeep Tandon, for a term of one year, subject to shareholder approval; Mr. Kannan brings over 40 years of experience in the banking, financial services, and insurance sector, including a prior role as Managing Director at State Bank of India, and his appointment was welcomed by Aavas Chief Executive Officer Mr. Manu Singh.
