Bank credit rises around 11.40% on year

According to the latest data from the Reserve Bank Of India (RBI), scheduled commercial bank's total credit, excluding interbank advance stood at Rs 178.74 lakh crore as on 24 January 2025, up around 0.41% on the fortnightly basis and up around 11.40% compared to the year ago levels.
